The Thinking Feeling Epidemic - Oprah with Eckart Tolle Get On The Webcast Monday
It is so obvious to me. We need to learn how to control our thinking, all these labels of depression, addiction to drugs - it is no different that Big Mac's, people do things excessively, spend, over eat, drink wine, sedatives, sex addictions, - it is all to change how they feel, to escape a thought...we need to learn how to think in ways that support us - we are only just now becoming open to understanding ourselves, our bio chemisty, our brain, emotions and souls and how they interact with identity, memories verses who we would like to create our selves to be. We can create however we must give up comfort - the brain loves comfort even if that comfort (over eating, too much wine, chain smoking, over speanding)is destroying your life. STOP IT!
I have a book coming out in May 'Happy NOW', that will help people learn. Meanwhile get on Oprah's Monday night web class with Eckart Tolle and seek resource to change how you feel, that do not create guilt, remorse, obesity, anger, - So exercize, eat healthy food, limit the booze just for a while, to see how you feel, start that book, help someone who is further down the whole than you...call me if you like, do something!!!! This moment is your life and change happens NOW, so does JOY!
(Robin H-C; quote for ABC’s 20/20): ’This issue of addiction is and epidemic like negative thinking is, in fact it stems from it, our negative focuses as a society– ALL people are using escapes, be it food, overeating, excessive TV, smoking, shopping drinking, recreational drugs, sex addiction, emotional addictions, (scientist have leaned we have) the list goes on and on. It is not limited to Hollywood it is amplified through Hollywood – ALL people are struggling with their thoughts, and don’t know how to govern their brains and change or integrate healthy brain patterns to get what they want – I work with Neural Linguistic Programming – this I have found by far to be the greatest support for changing behaviours and creating healthy escapes. Addictions are about escaping thoughts, changing our feelings for a moment. Behind every addiction is the positive intention to feel better and shift a thinking pattern or how one perceives something. We have not provided people with coping mechanisms or taught them how to overcome repetitious self deprecating thoughts. It is time’ Technorati Profile
