THE PEOPLE WE SURROUND OURSELVES WITH AND THE THOUGHTs WE HAVE DEFINE OUR LIFE EXPERIENCE

It was my birthday earlier this week. It was the most incredible birthday I can remember, last year was pretty great too. However, in recent years, I used this day as a 'barometer' for what I felt was missing in my life, starting to sag, what I had not yet accomplished, found, given birth too, or achieved in my life...how much money I didn't have. Well Happy Birthday, this is what I used to create. This year I chose it to be about acknowledgment and gratitude.

A few days before my birthday I thought , 'all I want is to be acknowledged and surrounded by love'. So I put it out their in the form of a thought. Well, my sister called me and told me she was having a Birthday Party for me and her mother-in-law, Glady, who I absolutely adore. The most incredible gift of having my family and the people I care about most gathered around a table with delicious food and a great deal of love. I felt honored as as a human being, appreciated, important.

A few months back when I was engaging in feelings of loneliness with more frequency then I care to admit - I wished I had a teddy bear, sound silly, I know, yet strangely significant - anyway, my brilliant little nephews bought me a teddy bear - how did they know?....

I received many cards, e-mails, e-cards and flowers. It is wonderful to be remembered. Thank you all for the love and magical moments you bring to my life. I also heard from someone really important - little moments that can make life.

A dear friend sent me this and I was moved and quite frankly touched and sobbing by the end of it. Perhaps the most beautiful words anyone has ever sent me.

Special Treasure

It was a gift to the world when you were born—
a person who loves, who cares,
who sees a person’s need and fills it,
who encourages and lifts people up,
who spends energy on others
rather than herself,
someone who touches each life she enters,
and makes a difference in the world,

So many wonderful acknowledgments and brilliant outcomes I want to share with everyone. This week my computer crashed, several times and offered me an opportunity to develop patience, I am leaning this one, gradually, from all directions. Funny how lessons always find us until we begin to address the situation, person, circumstance in a completely new light with new attitude and approach with freedom. That which we resist persists so, it's little steps for me with patience focusing on the successes in each moment! There is plenty of course, because we find whatever we are looking for negative or positive - there is always evidence for what we want to see.

NLP in the morning, expecting more astonishing pieces to the brain body-emotional- physiological- quantum-neural-puzzle I have been working on for the past seven years. Neural nets fascinate me and the will you to once you begin to understand what they are...I'll explain it a bit tomorrow evening!
