1) Success list- Make a list or better yet, keep a journal of your daily or weekly accomplishments. It’s easy to get distracted by all that needs to be done and overlook all the results you have in fact achieved acknowledge the actions you have taken and congratulate yourself!

2) Control your thoughts- our mood is reflective of the thoughts that we have. To enhance your life experience and happiness discipline yourself to NOT engage in any thoughts that weaken you. This is one behavior guaranteed to support you in accessing more peace in your life.

3) Stay on top of things- When we slip behind and procrastinate we are in a constant state of mild worry and for some even anxiety. Give it up! Completing task ahead of schedule creates self esteem and a feeling of accomplishment. Avoid anything that creates a negative conversation with yourself or guilt.

4) Organize your space- Create structures and use them. Using the can sometimes be the key - so you will need to train yourself in order to have your environment aligned with stress free thinking. So hang up those clothes, put the files back in their place and eliminate clutter. This includes those hidden junk drawer. The more things we have organized the less we are distracted and experience a feeling that we have life handled. 5) Use affirmations- Repeat regularly in your mind your greatest goals and affirm to yourself “I can do it, I can do it!” Get excited about the future! Skipping meals or unhealthy eating habits will impact your ability to focus and perform so be sure to have some balance in your diet. Equally important is to avoid those foods that you know disagree with you. Anything that impacts the central nervous system willweaken you ability to cope - avoid or limit, alcohol, tobacco, recreational drugs, coffee and sugars.

7) Listen to your internal dialogue – pay attention to how you speak to yourself and learn to be nice. Our langue creates out reality so using harsh word can take a poor experience and amplify it simply through our choice of word. In dealing with any problem you want to remain optimistic and entertain powerful questions and conversations that offer possibility and solutions.

8) Tickle your sense – Our brains are processing 400 particals of information per second. So we are impacted by a whole array of sense - smell, touch taste, sound and sight. As we absorb all of this information sub-consciously our mood is influenced and created. Burn incense, listen to relaxation cd’s, perhaps classical music, have a vintage glass of wine and a cheese plate, read a great book or take a bubble bath. Self care is important! Schedule time for the things in your life that are like 'soul food' for you.

Multi-task - listen to them on your way to work, while working out or organizing your space. When we are in a negative mind frame, sometimes the most dangerous place to be is in our own mind.
